Multifaceted cooperation between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan discussed at symposium in Baku

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Baku organized an international scientific and practical symposium "Multifaceted cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan: achievements and prospects." This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The symposium was held jointly with the Center for Analysis of International Relations of Azerbaijan on the occasion of “2025 – International Year of Peace and Trust” and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality. The forum was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan S. Sharifov, Head of the Center for Analysis of International Relations F. Shafiev, Head of the Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Sh. Shiriyev, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan G. Elyasov, Head of the Azerbaijani part of the Turkmen-Azerbaijani Interparliamentary Friendship Group and Member of the Milli Majlis T. Rustamhanly, as well as local deputies, experts and journalists. The speakers spoke about the role of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality in strengthening peace, regional and global security, stability in international relations in the current complex geopolitical situation in the world, as well as how Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality serves as an effective tool for conducting international diplomacy.
