Rare American supercar will go up for auction for the first time

The auction house Worldwide Auctioneers has announced the sale of a unique roadster ASVE AREX, created in 2008. This supercar is a one-of-a-kind example, designed by David Stollery, a former Disney actor who later became a professional automobile engineer. The auction for the sale of this exclusive car will take place on Friday, April 25, auto.ru reports. David Stollery's career began in the 1950s as an actor in films and on Broadway. He later spent seven years at General Motors, followed by a similar period at Toyota's California design studio. During this time, Stollery received an education in automotive design and was involved in the creation of a number of famous models, including the second-generation Toyota Celica. His career was later associated with Harley-Davidson. According to the creators, the roadster is capable of accelerating to 97 km/h in just 3 seconds and reaching a top speed of 322 km/h. In 2019, David Stollery donated this car to a museum in Southern California. Now, due to the closure of the museum organization, this unique exhibit is put up for sale.
