AvtoVAZ is preparing a sports modification of the Lada Vesta for release in 2025

The Tolyatti automaker plans to expand the Lada Vesta model range by adding a full-fledged Sport version this year. This will be a logical development of the line after the successful launch of the Sportline modification in the fall of 2023, reports auto.ru. Let us remind you that Vesta Sportline is equipped with a 1,6-liter engine with a capacity of 118 horsepower and a torque of 151 Nm, paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The car differs from the standard version in a sporty body kit, reinforced brakes, special shock absorbers and exclusive wheels. At the moment, in the AvtoVAZ model range, only the Lada Granta has a full-fledged sports version, which uses a similar power unit as the Vesta Sportline, but has less weight. The manufacturer also began test assembly of the Niva Sport, boosted to 122 hp. engine and upgraded suspension. In addition to the sports version of Vesta, the plant is preparing for mass production of the new Lada Iskra model.
