BMW design undergoes changes

The head of the BMW design department announced that the styling of the Neue Klasse electric cars will become the basis for all future models of the brand, including cars with traditional internal combustion engines, Motor.ru reports. Electric and petrol BMW models based on the Neue Klasse platform will differ from each other, but will retain a common style. Each model will have its own unique character, as close as possible to the concept. One of the key features of the new BMWs will be the revolutionary Panoramic Vision head-up display, which occupies the entire width of the windshield. The driver will be able to independently choose what information is displayed on this display. In addition, Neue Klasse cars will feature an unusual design of the central console, futuristic controls and the use of environmentally friendly materials in the interior trim. The first production vehicle in the Neue Klasse line will be the BMW iX3 crossover, which will hit the market in 2025. In the following years, the line will be expanded to include a sedan and other models.
