Mandatory Registration of Freight Forwarders in New Ministry of Transport Register Starting March 1, 2026

All legal entities and individual entrepreneurs engaged in freight forwarding activities will be required, starting from March 1, 2026, to submit a notification of their operations through the “Gosuslugi” (State Services) platform. Registration will become a prerequisite for lawful operations and will be maintained in an electronic register hosted on the “GosLog” platform. This was reported by the information portal Logirus. Entities will have 60 days to submit the notification. Failure to comply will result in fines and suspension of activities. Applications will be reviewed within one business day if all documents are in order; otherwise, processing may take up to seven days. An application may be rejected if the company was recently removed from the register, has a duplicate entry, is in the process of liquidation, or does not meet the legal requirements (for example, if the head of the organization has a criminal record for economic offenses). Any changes in registration data must be reported within three business days. Removal from the register will occur upon request, during business liquidation, or due to unresolved violations. The register will contain key information about organizations, including permits for the transportation of dangerous goods. The Ministry of Transport will verify the accuracy of the data and compliance with the established requirements.
