Schoolchildren from Turkmenistan participate in the "Children of the Commonwealth" forum in Belarus
Representatives of Turkmenistan are taking part in the X International Cultural and Educational Forum “Children of the Commonwealth”, which started yesterday, July 7, in Belarus, in the Zubrenok children’s center, located on the territory of the Narochansky National Park. This year the forum is dedicated to the theme "80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Memory and Unity of Generations", as reported on the website of the CIS Executive Committee. Delegations of schoolchildren from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are participating in the forum. The forum program begins at the National Children's Technopark, where children will be told about its work and will be given master classes dedicated to science and innovation. Every day they will learn about the history, culture and traditions of one of the Commonwealth countries. A rich program, a large number of meetings and excursions have been prepared for the children, the source notes. The International Cultural and Educational Forum "Children of the Commonwealth" was initiated by the Zhogorku Kenesh (parliament) of the Kyrgyz Republic, supported by the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly. The first forum was held in 2013 on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. The forum was also held in Russia and Uzbekistan. The forum in Belarus will last until July 16.
