President of Turkmenistan orders acceleration of cotton harvest without losses
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdymukhammedov held a working meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhalliyev and the khyakims of the country’s velayats, where he ordered an increase in the pace of cotton harvesting. According to TDH, the meeting addressed issues in the agricultural sector and the implementation of the National Rural Program. It was reported that efforts are being made to ensure the cotton harvest is collected without losses and is continuously delivered to receiving points and cotton processing enterprises. Special attention is being paid to maintaining the uninterrupted operation of agricultural and transportation machinery. In the Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, rice harvesting continues, with all necessary measures taken to ensure the uninterrupted delivery and proper storage of the harvested crop at receiving points. Care for the sugar beet fields in the Mary region has been completed, and harvesting has now begun. Summarizing the report, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of ensuring the cotton harvest is collected without losses and is continuously delivered to receiving points and cotton processing enterprises. Particular attention is being given to maintaining the uninterrupted operation of agricultural and transportation machinery. Serdar Berdymukhammedov instructed that timely and quality execution of all seasonal activities, especially during the ongoing cotton harvesting campaign, be closely monitored.
