Geely announced plans for the coming years

The Geely car concern is striving to significantly increase car production: by 2027, it plans to produce more than 5 million cars of all brands. To this end, the company is actively developing hybrid technologies, including creating cars that run on both gasoline and methanol, auto.ru reports. In 2024, Geely has already produced about 3,32 million cars, which is 21% more than the previous year. The company is actively investing in the development of electric vehicles and hybrids, and by 2025, their production will reach 1,5 million units. At the same time, Geely continues to produce traditional cars with internal combustion engines. The company pays special attention to the development of infrastructure for alternative fuels. Over the past year, 519 methanol filling stations have been built in China, and their number is planned to increase to 4000 by 2027.
