Chery Concern introduced a new premium brand Lepas

Chinese automaker Chery has announced the creation of a global premium brand, Lepas, with the L8 crossover as its debut model. The first production car rolled off the assembly line on April 18 at a plant in Wuhu (Anhui Province), auto.ru reports. The name Lepas is a combination of the words Leap and Passion. The L8 is expected to be unveiled at the end of April at the 2025 Global Dealer Conference. Official details about the new model have not yet been released, but its appearance resembles an updated version of the Chery Fulwin T8, a mid-size crossover 4,73 meters long. In the future, Lepas intends to expand its lineup, offering both family crossovers and cars for those who value individuality.
