Turkmenistan plans to cooperate with World Trade Institute in light of its accession to WTO

On January 15, a meeting was held between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Swiss Confederation Vepa Hajiyev and the head of the World Trade Institute, Professor Michael Hahn. The parties discussed current issues of cooperation, exchanging views on short-term areas of joint work. Particular attention was paid to studying potential forms of cooperation that can be implemented in light of the process of Turkmenistan’s accession to the WTO. The mutual importance of dialogue for strengthening cooperation was emphasized and hope was expressed for a successful continuation of partnership relations, according to the website of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Switzerland.
