Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took a boat trip on the Caspian Sea

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, within the framework of a working visit to the Balkan velayat, got acquainted with the progress of preparatory work for the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries. As reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, during the visit, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took a boat trip on the Caspian Sea, during which he got acquainted with the sea vessels designed to ensure security during the international forum. Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense of Turkmenistan Begench Gundogdyev informed about the characteristics of various vessels that will monitor the observance of order in the country's maritime spaces, especially during the international forum. Having familiarized himself with the ships during the sea excursion, the National Leader of the Turkmen people noted that every effort should be made to organize the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries at a high level. Currently, the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone has gained worldwide fame due to its unique natural and recreational opportunities. High-class sanatoriums, hotels with medical and therapeutic departments, children's health resorts, cottages for family recreation and sports complexes have been built on the territory of this natural complex on the shore of the Caspian Sea. Vacationers, whose number in “Avaza” is growing year after year, are provided with high-quality health services. As a result of regular landscaping campaigns, vast green areas and parks have appeared on the sea coast, and modern recreation areas have been created that meet international standards, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan notes.
