President of Turkmenistan takes part in the Victory Parade in Moscow

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov is taking part in the Victory Parade, which is currently taking place on Red Square in Moscow. As the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports, the head of Turkmenistan was warmly welcomed in the Kremlin by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The heads of the two states exchanged friendly handshakes, and then they took a joint commemorative photo. From the Kremlin, the President of Turkmenistan, together with other distinguished guests – heads of delegations from the CIS countries and other foreign states who arrived in Moscow to participate in the festive events, headed to the Central Tribune on Red Square, where the Victory Parade began. Eighty years have passed since the Great Victory in the most brutal and bloody war in world history, which led to irreparable losses, taking millions of human lives and leaving unhealed wounds. United in the face of a merciless threat, the fraternal peoples demonstrated examples of valor and courage on the battlefield.The victory over fascism in the Great Patriotic War is rightfully our common heritage. And the participation of the President of Turkmenistan in the current anniversary celebrations is a clear demonstration of the respectful attitude towards the common feat of the heroic liberators, whose memory will live forever. The Turkmen people made a worthy contribution to the Great Victory. Turkmen soldiers fought selflessly on the fronts, demonstrating unparalleled heroism, fortitude and strength of spirit. The valiant feat of Turkmen soldiers is a true example of love for the Motherland, honor and loyalty to duty.The names of Turkmen citizens who did not return to their native lands and those who returned home with the Victory are included in the multi-volume editions “Hatyra” and “Şöhrat”.
