Hongqi releases electric crossover that scans road terrain

Premium Chinese automaker Hongqi is expanding its line of electric vehicles with the new Tiangong 08 model, which features cutting-edge suspension technology. According to Autohome, the crossover is offered in two versions: with a single motor producing 344 hp on the rear axle and an all-wheel drive modification that develops an impressive 619 hp. The car's innovative air suspension deserves special attention, as it has six modes of stiffness adjustment. The system is capable of analyzing the condition of the road surface and automatically adapting the suspension parameters in real time, which is reminiscent of the Magic Carpet technology first introduced by Mercedes-Benz in the top models of 2012. In the Chinese market, the cost of Tiangong 08 ranges from 239,8 to 339,8 thousand yuan, varying depending on the level of equipment.
