Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Russia increased by more than 21% in January-March 2025
Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Russia increased by 21.4% in January-March 2025. Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin in his Telegram channel reported this. Khusnullin held a meeting at the SPIEF with the Chairman of the Turkmen part of the intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian commission on economic cooperation Nokerguly Atagulyev. "Relations between our countries are based on friendship and mutual respect. I would like to note that this year, trade turnover between our countries increased by 21.4%. This is an indicator that our relations are on the rise," he wrote. During the meeting, the parties discussed the details of cooperation in the areas of trade, industry, energy, agriculture, culture, education, and also defined plans for the further development of bilateral relations. The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is being held from June 18 to 21. Deputy Prime Minister Nokerguly Atagulyev heads the Turkmen delegation to the SPIEF.
