New Industrial Gas Inflow Achieved at Galkynysh Field
Significant progress has been made in natural gas production at the Galkynysh field. A new industrial gas inflow has been obtained from several productive horizons at production well No. 265, according to TDH. Successful drilling at a depth of 4,485 meters revealed promising layers at 4,417–4,281 and 4,266–4,226 meters. The well's daily output stands at 2 million cubic meters of gas, with an upward trend, showcasing the effectiveness of modern field development methods in Turkmenistan. Particular attention is drawn to the use of advanced drilling technologies requiring high-level expertise. The Galkynysh supergiant field, with its unique technical characteristics, continues to serve as a reliable source of natural gas. Turkmenistan, holding the world's fourth-largest gas reserves, is actively developing numerous fields, including offshore deposits in the Caspian Sea.
