The Turkmen city of Arkadag received three awards at the World Smart City Expo 2024

The Turkmen city of Arkadag received three awards at the International Smart Cities Exhibition World Smart City Expo 2024, which is being held in the city of Goyang, Republic of Korea. This was reported by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Korea. Arkadag Smart City was the first in the award ceremony. The Turkmen delegation was awarded the following three prizes: 1.Excellence Award – an award for outstanding achievements (the Turkmen city became the only winner of this award). 2.Foreign City Award. 3.WSCE 2024 Contribution Award – an award for contribution to the development of WSCE 2024. During the award ceremony, the head of the Turkmen delegation, Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D. Orazov, made a speech of thanks. In his speech, he noted the high level of organization of the event, saying that this exhibition presented technologies and systems that meet the modern requirements of “smart cities”.
