FESCO will launch container service to the ports of the Persian Gulf
In October 2024, FESCO Transport Group will launch a sea container service to the Persian Gulf countries based on its own regular line between the ports of Novorossiysk, India and the UAE FESCO Indian Line West. This was reported by Alexey Kravchenko, Commercial Director of “FESCO Integrated Transport”, during the conference #BehindContainers. According to him, in the summer of 2023, FESCO launched a sea line between Novorossiysk and the ports of India, to which services to Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and the UAE were subsequently connected via “feeder arms”. “Now we will be able to organize delivery for clients from the ports of Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain”, - said Alexey Kravchenko. “We have already signed all the contracts, and we are already starting to work. Our partners will deliver FESCO containers to Jebel Ali or Nava Sheva from the Persian Gulf countries on their lines, and then we will organize delivery to Novorossiysk on our own fleet. The client receives a fully end-to-end service under the FESCO bill of lading, which works both in import and export”.
