An International Forum to Celebrate 30 Years of Partnership with Visa Will Be Held in Ashgabat

Ashgabat is preparing to host an international business forum dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the partnership between Turkmenistan and the American company Visa. At a government meeting, Deputy Prime Minister H. Geldimyradov reported on preparations for this event as part of the implementation of the State Program for Digital Economy Development in Turkmenistan for 2021–2025. The forum, proposed for November 27, will focus on strategic partnership with Visa, as well as the development of advanced technologies and innovations in the field of international payment systems. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of collaboration and experience exchange with international organizations in the country’s transition to a digital economy. Approving the proposal for the forum, he instructed that it be organized at a high level, TDH reports.
