Only 9% of companies continue to adapt logistics

In 2025, the share of Russian companies reporting a deterioration in their condition reached a four-year high of 34%, according to an annual CEO survey conducted by “Yakov and Partners.” The remaining CEOs surveyed reported either an improvement or stability in the economic situation of their companies. In 2025, companies began to assess risks differently. Geopolitics and foreign economic restrictions are no longer among the key threats. In June 2025, only 20% of CEOs named foreign trade bans as an acute problem, compared to 63% in December 2022. The significance of geopolitics also sharply declined: only 15% of respondents named it as the main risk, compared to 56% one and a half years ago. In June 2025, businesses are more concerned about the shortage of qualified personnel, rising capital costs, and increasing credit rates. Company priorities have also changed. The share of those engaged in adapting supply chains is steadily decreasing: 39% in 2022, 25% in 2023, 19% in 2024, and 9% in 2025. This most likely means that companies have restructured their supply chains by establishing relationships with domestic suppliers and buyers, as well as with partners from friendly countries.
