25 Transactions Recorded at the Turkmen Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange
Last week, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan successfully concluded 25 trading transactions, earning the country over $47 million from the export of various products. The main buyers included entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Afghanistan. The export assortment featured a wide range of goods: technical sulfur, liquefied gas, low-sulfur heating oil, kerosene, urea, as well as Turkmenistan’s traditional hand-woven carpets, cotton yarn, and Portland cement. Meanwhile, on the domestic market, local businesses purchased polypropylene, base oil, float glass, packaging film, and other goods. The total volume of international transactions reached $47,469,000, while domestic transactions amounted to 15,362,000 manats and $222,870, according to TDH.
