A phone conversation took place between the Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan

On May 8, a phone conversation was held between the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov. During the conversation, current issues related to strengthening bilateral cooperation were discussed, as reported by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan. The ministers expressed confidence that the historically established traditional friendly and brotherly ties between the two nations would continue to develop based on the partnership relations between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan. They emphasized the importance of political dialogue at the level of heads of state, mutual visits, and consultations between foreign ministries to further develop relations between the two countries. During the conversation, the parties also discussed issues of regional security, cooperation within international organizations, and collaboration in the Caspian Sea. Additionally, the ministers exchanged views on other bilateral and multilateral issues of mutual interest.
